The Salmon Cage

My latest story, The Salmon Cage, has now been printed and mailed.

I hope my stomach will forgive me for doing this soon.

Hold me in the Light, folks.

So where are you sending it?

And where's the next place you'll send it? The stomach issues can be reduced by doing a big chunk of market research up front and getting together a list of potential markets and prioritizing them, so when you get a rejection (and you will) you can send it right on to the next one without the agony of selection. I wouldn't re-read it for another polish up more often than every five or so rejections.

Now that you've got that over with, start the next story. It'll give you something else to think about.

Started with Analog (might as well go for the top, right? Besides, it's kind of rivety), will try others as it comes back.

My next story is a VR story called "Paper Moon", which I put aside in order to finish "The Salmon Cage". In fact, I should be working on it right now....
